In our 30-minute conversation, we’ll talk through your answers to get to the bottom of your photo muddle, and decide on the next steps to fix them. I’ll recommend the best package to suit your requirements.

After the call I’ll send you an email with all the details you need to get started (availability and booking details, details of what happens next, pricing and payment options)

Don’t worry – that’s why we have a free of charge chat to kick things off. I’ll help you choose the right service to meet you where you are in your organising journey right now, and give you the exact amount of support that you need to reach your goal. I appreciate that there is a lot to think about, which is why I provide you with a set of worksheets in the “Photo Organising Consultation” to help you gather together the information that we need to get started.

I work with you over Zoom or phone (or your preferred online communication platform) to guide you through your organising project. I also use Team Viewer to screen-share with your computer, so I can see exactly what is going on with your digital photos, files, and folders. I send you an invitation through our computers and you use that to give me access to your computer. I’ll need you to speak to you over Zoom or phone to kick things off, but once I am in you are free to go off and enjoy your day. There’s no need to sit at your computer and watch me work… unless you really want to!

Every project is different, but photo organising is detailed and focused work which cannot be rushed. Smaller projects can be completed in 1-2 weeks, with larger projects taking anywhere from 1 – 6 months. I will try to give as much guidance on timing as possible at the outset of the project, and will keep you updated throughout the work.

Every photo management project is unique, and reflects the content of your photo library and your personal goals for your collection. Whilst the prices quoted above cover the basic, quantifiable elements of a photo management project, there will be occasions where a more bespoke, creative solution is required.

Whether you are looking for help compiling a photo book, researching a generations-old family album, or setting up an online photo gallery, we can work together to agree a sensible budget that reflects the attention to detail, research and archival solutions required to deliver your project.

If you are local to South West Scotland I will personally collect your photographs from you. Further afield in the UK I use a network of trustworthy independent drivers who can collect your photos and bring them to me here in Dumfries. Alternatively we can use courier companies to ship your photos to us.

Yes of course! Unless you don’t want them back, in which case I can shred them for you. No photographs are destroyed without your written consent.

Don’t worry – I can work with thousands of photos every day so they are just files and data to me. I usually work with minimised thumbnails of the images anyway.

I can be flexible to accommodate working across time zones, but please keep in mind that due to other client and family commitments, this may mean that we have to wait a little longer to get started, so that I can find the ideal slot for you.

Yes of course! I am open to using a variety of platforms for our conversations and sessions, so let me know which is your favourite and we’ll work something out. Personally, I use Zoom, MS Teams, Messenger, and Facetime, as well as phone.

Please don’t buy anything as we won’t know what size of hard drives, albums, boxes etc. we need until I have consolidated your collection, deduplicated files and counted the photos.

I can source any required product for you but won’t go ahead and purchase until you have agreed to it. I also keep a small stock of frequently used items here in my studio which I can make available at cost price.

Finally, if you have any existing product or items that you want to be incorporated into the project (e.g. a treasured family album or a special memory box) please let me know early on in the project so that I can check it is safe for storing delicate photos and advise you accordingly.
