I have a confession to make – I am addicted to rainbows.  As I rearrange my house, I’m taking more and more notice of colour and placement… in the colours of the rainbow.

Take today for example. I was eating my breakfast whilst looking through a few recipe books, searching for a new cake recipe to try out for a lunch at the weekend.  “Mmm…?” I thought, as I stared at the books.  “I wonder what they would look like arranged in colour order?”  Ten minutes later and, Ta-da!  Rainbowtized!

Wherever I see groups of colourful things, I rainbowtize.  My wardrobe.  My son’s wardrobe.  His cups and plates in the kitchen cupboard.  Nothing is safe.  Not even Mr 4’s toy cars (but that was him, not me.  Honest). The next big project is to consolidate all our books into the built-in unit in our sitting room – organised by colour of course.
