With over 20 years’ experience working in museums, charities and law firms in the UK and UAE, I understand the importance of an organised environment. I am passionate about sharing my obsession with organising to help my clients make more space in their lives for what really matters.
About More Organised
More Organised grew from a simple blog, my little corner of the internet where I share my love of organising through the magic of social media. The blog’s popularity grew, and I set up More Organised Limited as a professional organising consultancy to help you become more organised too!
By working with you to declutter your physical space and implement systems, I help you to take away the overwhelm and replace it with the freedom to spend your time on what really makes you happy. I give advice, support and ideas to families, individuals, businesses and organisations… anyone who is fed up of the clutter and wants to find a more organised way of life. Sometimes you just need a little bit of help, and that’s where I come in.
A proud member of the Association of Professional Declutterers & Organisers (APDO), you can be sure that by hiring More Organised, you are working with a professional, insured, confidential consultant. I am also registered with the Information Commissioners Officer as required by the Data Protection Act 1998.
More Organised is my second baby (my first is now a cheeky six-year-old little boy who wants to be an astronaut when he grows up). I know first-hand what it’s like to juggle raising a family, working full-time, making sure everyone is fed and happy, all whilst trying to develop a career, pursue outside interests and maintain a social life. Through my own experience, organisational skills and precise attention to detail, I can help you find the space and time that you are looking for.
I recently returned to Scotland after 12 years living in Dubai, with my husband, our son, three cats and an ever-expanding family of Lego mini-figures. We used to live opposite one of Dubai’s biggest shopping malls, and whilst there was a time when living in such close proximity to a mall would have been too tempting for me, over the years I have learned to focus more on quality not quantity, experiences rather than things. I am a devotee of Marie Kondo (of “The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up” fame) and read everything about organising that I can get my hands on. Yes – ironically I collect books on organising and hoarding!
When I am not organising or blogging, I enjoy memory-keeping, yoga, trying to encourage my garden to grow or keeping up with my little boy’s social life.
You can contact me here, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. I’d love to hear from you!
